Policy briefings
NCT policy briefings (listed below) set out our policy position on a topic and present the evidence on which our position is based. They are designed for professionals and user representatives working on policy and service development in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. They are useful for policy makers of all kinds, service commissioners, heads of maternity and children’s services and user representatives on maternity services liaison committees (MSLCs), labour ward forums and children’s trust. NCT policy briefings are usually longer than our position statements. NCT position statements are designed primarily for journalists and the media, but may also be of interest to policy makers and user representatives.
